Storybook Plot Line Brainstorming

Brainstorming

1.       Two best friends about the age of 16 live in Florida.  They go snorkeling where they see the most beautiful fish they have ever witnessed; they have underwater cameras and take photos of the fish they each like.  When they go to school the next day they ask their biology teacher about the fish.  The teacher tells them facts about each fish.  It is October together the girls decide that they want to dress like the fish for Halloween. 

a.       Brie and I would each design the Halloween outfit for one of the friends. 

2.       There are 15 year old twins in a store trying on dresses for their sweat 16.  They try on dresses, when they see themselves in the dresses they are reminded of recent trips they took.  Flash back to one of the twins in an aquarium, she is watching the animal that the dress reminds her of.  During the flashback there is a tour guide given information about the animal.  The story briefly goes back to the present then a flash back with the other twin happens.  She is at the beach observing the tide coming in and out, her father is their and explains why there are tides and how they happen. 

a.       Brie and I would each choose a twin and design the dress that our twin has on.  As well we would each develop the flashbacks for each twin individually. 

3.       There is a princess living on an island.  The princess is bored with her current wardrobe therefore wants two new wonderful outfits to liven her closet up.  She asks the best clothes maker on the island to make her five new outfits, she can choose her two favorite from.  One specification she asks of the clothes maker is the outfits are inspired by the sea.  He comes back to her with the five outfits she requested, each have the special ability of an organism in the sea. 

a.       Brie and would design and create the two favorite outfits.   

b.      Clarifying the special ability: If the outfit was inspired by a sea star the outfit has the ability to regenerate as a sea star does.

c.       The education aspect is explaining the special ability each organism has.

Chosen Revised Story

There is a princess living on an island. The princess is bored with her current wardrobe; therefore, she wants two new wonderful outfits to liven her closet up. My partner and I will design and create the two favorite outfits.

Special ability example: If the outfit was inspired by a sea star, the outfit has the ability to regenerate (e.g. if a sleeve was torn it would repair itself) as a sea star does.

The education aspect is the dress maker explaining the special ability of each organism.
