Specifications and Limitations

Specifications

                The garment must:

1.       be designed for an original fairy tale character

2.       be inspired by a marine organism

3.       fit model based on her measurements

4.       be patterned to full scale

5.       be patterned using muslin fabric

6.       be made to be used as an on stage costume

7.       be made of quality materials

8.       have closures for easy on and off (i.e. zippers, buttons, etcetera)

Limitations

                The garment may not:

1.       be designed for an already established fairy tale character

2.       be unrelated to the story line of the fairy tale

3.       be too large or too small for the model’s measurements

4.       be different that the pattern

5.       be patterned using inappropriate materials

6.       be inappropriate for a children’s audience

7.       be made of poor quality materials

8.       have all permanent closures
